JOIN THE FLOCK AND VOLUNTEER WITH US!

Volunteer with us and learn about the fascinating Florida ecosystem, participate in local advocacy efforts that make a difference, meet likeminded people and the conservation leaders of our community and explore nature first hand. From donating one or two hours of service a month to serving on our Board of Directors and running our committees, volunteers keep our organization alive and active.
Join our enthusiastic and dedicated team of volunteers! We offer a wide variety of opportunities in education, conservation, and organizational support. We will work with you to find activities that match your interests, skills, and availability. As a volunteer, not only will our Audubon Chapter benefit from your support, but so will the fragile Florida ecosystem. Help us keep Florida special for future generations.

Eagle Watch Program – Volunteers are assigned a nest of a Bald Eagle pair in Martin County to monitor for successful fledgling of eaglets. Volunteers are asked to monitor their nests at least twice monthly from December through April and email monthly reports to Florida Audubon’s eagle watch headquarters. Binoculars are needed, a scope is helpful.
Other Bird Watches and Counts include Sandhill Crane watch, Great Backyard Bird Count, Bluebird nest box monitoring, Breeding Bird Atlas Surveys and other surveys that occur from time to time. Phone the office for details.
