Friends of Possum Long Habitat Creation Project: Fall – Winter 2011-2012

PLNC@AudubonMartinCounty.org

Volunteer help is always needed on a variety of projects at Possum Long Nature Center (621 SE Palm Beach Road, Stuart). Currently the bulk of our activity is clearing invasives but there is also need for propagation of selected native species, routine maintenance (weeding and pruning) and equipment repair. If you have a few hours to spare we would be pleased to have you share your energy, your expertise and your company with us. Gardening experience is not necessary. Our winter schedule is listed below. The hours are windows of opportunity and you shouldn't feel obliged to attend a whole session.

Every Wednesday afternoon between 2:00 and 5:00 at the Possum Long Nature Center

First and third Thursday mornings of the month between 8:30 and 10:30 at Possum Long House (Stuart Garden Club) parking lot working with Louise White.

Bring your gloves, a snack and something cold to drink - Possum Long Nature Center, 621 SE Palm Beach Road, Stuart (directions).
