Our Lending Nature Library

The library is located in the Ruth Miles House at Possum Long Nature Center in Stuart. (see directions and map) Open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Friday.

The Audubon of Martin County library has several hundred books, videos and DVDs about birds, beasts, botany, ecology, nature study, conservation resources and more. book list here

Collection Volunteer librarian Tatiana contributes her time cataloging, covering and shelving the hidden treasures and hopes you'll come browse, borrow and enjoy our collection. New donations in good condition, are always welcome. Most books are oldies but goodies and have been generously given by members. Many are classics in their fields and are very worth a read. Books may be borrowed by AoMC members and anyone can research in the AoMC office.

Mounted Mounted specimens and other educational material are on display in the library and are available for Martin County staff educators to borrow to illustrate their classroom nature presentations.
