Mark your calendars for our TWO Field trips in December.

Saturday, December 8, 2012: Hawk’s Bluff the Savannas Preserve State Park is our birding destination. Our guides will be AOMC’s Bill Wolters and Tessa Roberts, Park Ranger. The Hawks’ Bluff area has the deepest water in the park. Even if the rest of the park is dry, there is still water here and the wildlife is concentrated. We can expect to see Glossy Ibis and Northern Harriers and possibly Scrubjays. For you native plant enthusiasts, there are some unique plants, as well as a rich diversity of habitats. See the events page for detailed information.

Saturday, December 15, 2013: Wakotahatchee is a great place for all to have close up views of Florida’s birds. All you budding photographers with cell phone cameras and regular cameras, please note that we will have professional photographers, John Nelson and Dean Smith, join us to give tips as we take photos of the birds and wildlife. NO reservations are required but feel free to call Fran at 772 245-8180 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
